Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
Information you send
If you complete the consultation form, the information you enter — your name, telephone number, email address, the type of matter, your description of the situation, and your preferred method of contact — is transmitted to the office so that your enquiry can be answered.
Please keep that description general. Information sent before an attorney–client relationship exists may not be treated as confidential or privileged. See the disclaimer.
How that information is used
It is used to respond to your enquiry, to carry out any conflict check required before a matter can be accepted, and to keep a record of the enquiry. It is not sold, rented or exchanged, and it is not used to send marketing that you have not asked for.
Retention
Enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to respond to them and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a law practice, and are then deleted. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask and it will be.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It loads a script from Google and sets cookies that give your browser an anonymous identifier, so that repeat visits can be recognised as the same browser. Google receives the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. It does not receive your name, and nothing you type into the contact form is sent to it.
You can prevent this entirely: block cookies for this website in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which applies to every website you visit. Declining analytics has no effect on your ability to use this website or to contact the office.
Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third-party font service. Apart from the analytics script described above, no maps, chat widgets or social embeds load third-party code into these pages.
Server logs and security
As with any website, the hosting provider records standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — for security and operational purposes. The consultation form uses basic anti-spam measures rather than a third-party challenge service.
Your rights under California law
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, including rights to know what personal information is held about them, to request its deletion, and to correct inaccurate information. No personal information is sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. To make a request, use the contact page.
Children
This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page.
